Lo spettatore volutamente confinato al di là di una recinzione immaginaria, osserva un territorio da ogni sua angolazione. Lunghe panoramiche svelano tratti semi boschivi e aree in cui la fitta vegetazione sembra addensarsi a ridosso di palazzi in stato di apparente semiabbandono. Della legna accatastata di recente, una jeep, dei cani da guardia…man mano che l’osservazione procede tracce di presenza umana si manifestano in maniera via via più evidente. Fin quando la percezione del fruitore non viene ribaltata dall’apparizione di alcuni uomini armati che pattugliano l’area. Dell’atto del sorvegliare e dell’essere sorvegliati.

The viewer, deliberately confined beyond an imaginary fence, observes an area from every angle. Long panoramic shots reveal semi-wooded stretches and areas where the dense vegetation seems to thicken up behind buildings in an apparent state of semi-abandonment. Recently stacked wood, a jeep, guard dogs... as the observation proceeds, traces of human presence become more and more evident.
